We make journals from salvaged vintage children's books (generally, 1940's to 70's), using 100% recycled paper. There are between 100 and 150 sheets of paper in each journal, a mix of lined and unlined sheets of various weights. Several illustrated pages from the original book are also included, to add to the individuality of each journal. The wire coil spines facilitate the journals lying flat open or doubled over.
Each journal is an original book, not a facimile and is made entirely in Canada. The journals are $18 . If you are looking for a specific catagory of book (for example, Hardy boys or Bobsey Twins) we will look through what we have and see if we can match your needs.
